Winter is an exciting season to visit The Homestead as this historic resort boasts more than 45 acres of well-maintained trails for skiing, snowboarding and tubing during the winter months. Rental equipment is available at The Homestead Ski Area, and winter sport novices can participate in group or one-on-one lessons at the Sepp Kober Ski & Bunny School. Visitors can also enjoy a guided snowmobile tour through the beautiful, snow-covered property. If you prefer something more low-key, relax by the fire in the Mountain Lodge, or roast s’mores after ice skating at the outdoor rink on the Casino Lawn. The Little Penguins Program provides supervised, fun winter activities for your children while you enjoy a day on the slopes. Weather permitting; these activities are available November through March.
