One of Bath County’s oldest buildings, Anderson Cottage has been in the present owners family since the 1870’s. The rambling house is actually two buildings, log and clapboard. The original four rooms housed an 18th Century tavern. It has also been a girls school and a summer inn. The 1820 brick kitchen is now a separate guest cottage and is the only lodging open to guests year round. A short walk to the famous Jefferson Pools, fine restaurants, galleries and spa are nearby in Warm Springs Village. Just 5 miles from downtown Hot Springs and the historic Homestead Resort.
Fort Lewis Lodge
A stone's throw from Lexington and Staunton, Fort Lewis Lodge is a full-service country inn at the heart of a 3.200-acre mountain estate first carved from the wilderness in the 1750's. Outdoor activities abound with miles of river trout and bass fishing on the privately owned Cowpasture River. You will also enjoy swimming, extensive hiking trails, mountain biking, magnificent views and abundant wildlife. Three "in the round" silo bedrooms, four hand-hewn log cabins with stone fireplaces, and Riverside House are perfect for a romantic getaway. Evenings are highlighted by contemporary American-style cuisine served in the historic Lewis Gristmill. The restaurant has drawn food lovers from near and far with its inventive, locally sourced cuisine and unique natural setting.

For fly-fishermen the Jackson River is just a cast away!
We are a B&B wholly operated by the owners. The Main House has 3 rooms furnished comfortably with appointments appropriate for its age and architecture. We also offer accommodations for larger parties, children and/or pets in our Summer Kitchen.
With a history of over 270 years of agriculture, we still operate a working sustainable farm at Hidden Valley B&B. As our guests explore the grounds, they have the unique opportunity to observe a wide variety of farm animals in their natural state. Goats and sheep munch on grasses and lazily nap in the warm sun. Chickens scratch the soil. Ducks frolic in the pristine waters of the spring-fed stream meandering behind the Main House. Children are often mesmerized by our farm and talk about their new farm friends long after their stay.

Inn at Gristmill Square
There has been a mill in continuous operation on this site on Warm Springs Run since 1771. The present mill building was erected in 1900 and operated as a gristmill until 1971, when the building was converted into the Waterwheel Restaurant. The Inn was created in 1972, utilizing five original 19th century buildings. Gristmill Square is like a small 19th century mountain village, with lovingly-restored historic buildings, fresh-baked muffins every morning, and an elegant restaurant housed in the converted mill.
Welcomed elements of the modern world intrude gently – each room has a private bath, cable TV and private phone line, and a day spa and gift shops are on the grounds. The seventeen rooms and suites are individually furnished in traditional décor with the feel of a country home. Many have their own fireplaces. The Inn at Gristmill Square is also the current home to the Waterwheel Restaurant.

Warm Springs Inn
The history of the Warm Springs Inn makes it one of the most unique country inns in the nation. The core brick structure of today’s inn dates from around 1843 when it served as Bath County’s first courthouse and jail. In 1907, a new court house and county jail were built in nearby Warm Springs in an area known as Germantown. Today at the Warm Springs Inn guests can still see where prisoners were held in the 19th Century. Today, this quaint bed and breakfast offers private quarters as well as private baths in each room, allowing for a completely relaxing trip for individuals, couples and families alike.
